Parish Council Elections 2nd May 2019 Election Information

Our parish is split into two wards; Nether Broughton Ward and Old Dalby Ward. Queensway is currently part
of Nether Broughton Ward. The Parish Council has approached Melton Borough Council regarding the
process for a boundaries review which could result in changes to ward designations in the future.
Each ward is represented by three Councillors on the Parish Council.

Dog Waste

Once again the PC has been alerted to the ongoing problem of dog waste left on pavements and the green areas of the parish. Dog fouling is the most offensive type of litter on our streets. It is anti-social, unhygienic and is proven to be a health hazard. The faeces of a dog can transmit diseases to other animals and to humans, especially young children.
