Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A temporary road closure is required on Hecadeck Lane on 26th July 2019 for 1 day.
The road will be closed between Middle Lane and Nottingham Road.
During the works, the one-way system will be suspended.

Each year the smaller authority's Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) needs to be reviewed by an external auditor appointed by Smaller Authorities' Audit Appointments Ltd. Following concerns raised by Leicestershire County Council's Highway Tree Inspector the Parish Council recently commissioned a detailed report on the Turkey Oak tree growing on The Green at the junction of Main Road and Chapel Lane, Old Dalby.
Unfortunately, due to a long-standing fungal colonisation the structural condition of the tree has been found to be poor.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location: Longcliffe Hill, Old Dalby (see attached plan). The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Severn Trent Water safely undertake works on a new water connection.
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

As you might be aware, following the formal local referendum in April 2018 several areas of land were awarded Local Green Space (LGS) status under the Neighbourhood Planning act.
