Who we are & what we do

Broughton and Old Dalby Parish Council consists of 4 elected and 2 co-opted members who serve for a four-year term, with the Parish divided into 2 wards, Broughton (which includes Queensway Old Dalby) and Dalby (which includes Six Hills). Main Council meetings are held at either Old Dalby village hall or Nether Broughton village hall usually on the first Monday of each month and the attendance of members of the public is welcomed.

We maintain green spaces including village greens in Old Dalby and Nether Broughton, the allotments in Queensway and play areas in the parish. For further information relating to the services offered by the Parish Council please contact the Parish Clerk who will be happy to give advice and assistance.

Our councillors are all elected, if you would like to become a councillor or find out more about what they do then please click here.

Committees

Our committees have specific tasks and can have delegated powers. As we are a small Parish, we usually discuss all matters as a full council and do not have any permanent standing committees but if required form temporary committees for specific tasks
